How to make a delicious Unadon

First, place the vacuum-sealed eel into boiling water while still frozen and warm it for about 1 minute and 30 seconds.
Because the eel is large, please be careful that the bag doesn’t touch the edge of the pot.

Next, remove it from the bag and lightly grill it in a toaster oven or similar appliance. It’s easier to handle if you cut it before grilling.
Start by lightly grilling the skin side, then grill the flesh side.
When small bubbles begin to appear on the flesh, that’s the timing to take it out. If you go past that point, it will burn, so please be careful.

Warm the sauce packet in lukewarm water before using it.

If you prefer a quick and easy way, simply heating it in hot water (sous-vide style) is the easiest and least likely to go wrong.

*Microwave: 1 minute at 500W / 50 seconds at 600W. Remove from pouch before microwaving.
